Jindai Cherry Blossom at Jissoji Temple (Yamanashi)

Jissoji Temple is a temple located in Hokuto City, Yamanashi Prefecture.
It has the oldest cherry blossom tree in Japan,  referred to as 'Jindai Cherry Blossom'.  It's the natural monument in Japan.

Jindai Cherry Blossom is one of the three big cherry tree in Japan. Other two are 'Usuzumi Cherry Blossom' in Gifu Prefecture and 'Taki Cherry Blossom' in Fukushima Prefecture.

In addition to Jindai Cherry Blossom, there are about thirty cherry trees of 50-100 year-old in the spacious precinct.
