Tottori-sakyu Sand Dunes (Tottori)

Tottori-sakyu are sand dunes spreading 2 km north to south and 16 km east to west at the seaside of Tottori city, Tottori prefecture.
 It's a natural monument in Japan.

Tottori-sakyu has three rows of dunes which are called the first row, the second row and the third row of dunes from seaside.

The second row of dunes is also called Uma-no-se (horse back).   A few greens are spreading at the foot of the dune.

Tottori-sakyu sand dunes are also designated as a special protect area within the Sanin-kaigan National Park.
