Japanese gardens in Adachi Museum (Shimane)

Adachi Museum of Art is located in Yasugi-shi Shimane.

The Adachi Museum’s Japanese gardens have been ranked as number one for the 12th consecutive year by the Journal of Japanese Gardening,  US magazine.

The six gardens, including the Dry Landscape Garden, are about 165,000 square meters in total.

Gardens show various seasonal faces, and have good balance with the surrounding natural mountains.
